So it is always a happy day when I get to share a picture of my brother and he is looking so darn good! Mike just recently came to Columbia for a visit and we all enjoyed having him here with us. He is sitting in his most favorite spot, the recliner in the living room at my parents house. I guess any old chair beats sitting in that wheel chair 24/7!! Mike spends a lot of time sitting here and we all take our time going and sitting beside him, just hanging out, talking or just holding hangs. Mike is not fond of the camera but I think understands my love for my camera. He does not tolerate the flash so I work around using the flash. This is one of my most favorite pictures of him and his sweet girl. I love that they are just hanging out, relaxing... no hospital, no hospital staff..... just family hanging out spending time together at home.

I am so loving that it is spring and the start of photography season... calls are coming in and photoshoots are being scheduled! I am so excited and ready to get out shooting, ideas for locations, editing techniques and much more stuff is going through my head like crazy!! I have been working with a graphic designer who is coming up with a fun logo for KC Eagle Photography, so keek watching I am hoping for a lot of changes this coming season!! Okay, so how sweet is this?? These two kiddo's could not have been more sweet with me but most importantly with each other! Yes, if you are wondering they are twins! I don't think I realized that when we first began our photo-shoot, which may explain why they are so close??? hmmm I don't know but it was a lot of fun hanging out with these two and seriously how cute is that puppy? Doesn't it make you want one??

I am having soooo much fun with all of these Seniors!!! This Senior and her family are soooo amazing, I shot her brother's Senior pictures a couple of years ago and her mom said they would be back when it was her daughter's turn and lucky for me, she was!

Senior "S" could not frown to save her life, her smile is contagious and fits her personality perfectly! Her parents had as much fun as she did and were as much fun to hang around with too! Senior "S" I wish you a wonderful year, thanks for letting me take your Senior pic's!

The most amazing pictures to share!! This family is always fun to shoot! Grandma was in town visiting from Florida so we just had to get some pictures to capture this moment in time.... This Senior shoot was so fun for so many reasons, one being that"B" is just a great guy, supper attitude, and fun to hang out with. Secondly, his mom just rocks!! She was my youngest daughters preschool teachers a few short years ago... Oh how time passes by way to quickly... I remember Missy talking about her son and cannot believe that now he is a Senior.... I had a great time with you all, sorry for thinking your dad was a crazy person in the alley downtown, HA! Have a Great Senior Year!

I always think how lucky I am to one be able to take pictures and do something I really love, then I work with fun families like the "H" family pictured here and cannot believe how Lucky I am to be really doing this!! What a great time, a beautiful day, lots of laughs can it get any better than this? Gotta love summer! My goal will be to post more regularly on this blog! We went out to Rock Bridge State Park this past weekend..... Well, I told you that I had a couple of cute guys and here is one one of them!! Baby "L" was born in July, yes a little late on sharing this little guy but better late than never! I do promise to do better. This little guy has two cute older brot

hers to show him all the tricks, look out mom and dad! So glad I was able to capture these precious moments of baby "L".

So Here is the other cute little guy I was telling you about, baby "J" I was so fortunate to get to watch this little guy enter the the world, his mom a dear friend or mine of mine let me be present through the entire labor/delivery, how absolutely amazing to be part of of something so private and personal. Now this little guy has three big sisters at home who are going to spoil him rotten! Look forward to capturing many more moments of both these little guys and their families!

School has Started

I can't believe the school year has started! Both our girls are now in school, can you believe that? I am not sure I believe it myself. Riley started 2nd grade, she likes her teacher and the students in her class. Addison is in Kindergarten, hard to believe! She did great on her first day of school. I am still adjusting... hoping to finish a couple of projects, we will see.

Well, I have not been so good about posting regularly.... Working to be better.

I just came across this picture of the girls at the Lake enjoying the sun and sand. I cannot believe in a matter of days we will be into August where we will need to start preparing for the whole, "back to school" mode.

We have been out and bought our backpacks and a lot our school supplies. Addison was just so excited to get her things! Speaking of Addison, she lost her first tooth yesterday! She was just so excited! Other big news, Riley got her ears pierced. Can't believe that I caved on that one! I really will do better and getting back on here and posting pictures. Have a couple of fun shots of a brand new baby boy, cant wait to share those with you. K

So, it may take me a little longer than the other professionals, but be patient, it's coming!
